Halberds are weapons made of a long shaft with a cleaver-like axe blade with a spike on top the blade at the other end. Like the spear, this weapon inflicts piercing damage, but this weapon can inflict 1d10 instead of 1d8 a standard spear does. But this weapon is a lot heavier, has a higher strength requirement of 13 and is slightly slower with a speed factor of 9. Also, druids can't use this weapon.

Description
“ | By far the oldest and most often used pole-arm, the halberd consists of a cleaver-like axe blade mounted on a staff averaging six feet in length. The axe blade is balanced at the rear with a fluke, and surmounted by a sharp spike, usually of quadrangular design. The fluke is sometimes replaced by a hook used to dismount cavalry. A halberd can be best described as a cross between a spear and an axe. | ” |
